1. Only the first verse number is given where the word or phrase occurs for each of the three Sūrahs respectively. The only exception is the Name of Allāh, where all the verse numbers are given where this occurs.
2. The words and phrases are given in the sequence in which they occur in the Holy Qur’ān.
Ash-Shukr and Du‘ā’:
We are thankful to Allāh, Subhānahū wa Ta‘ālā, Lord of all the worlds, for granting us the ability to accomplish this task through His Grace and Mercy. We are also thankful to our Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa Sallam, Sāhib ul-Bayān (the possessor of the Qur’ān), through whom the Qur’ān was revealed and taught to his ummah.
We are grateful to our parents for their guidance, encouragement, and Du‘ā’.
Du‘ā’: O Allāh! Grant us the ability to read, understand, and act upon the Divine Teachings of the Holy Qur’ān, and grant us the ability to follow the beautiful and blessed Sunnah of our Beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad, Sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa Sallam, whose “nature was the Qur’ān” (Muslim).
