VERSES OF THE HOLY QUR’ĀN
THAT END WITH THE NAME OF ALLAH
(The Glorified and The Exalted)

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS

3. Seven consecutive Verses that end in Asmā’ al-Husnā’

Some of the verses that end with the Name of Allah together with two other Asmā’ al-Husnā’ are bunched together as a bouquet of flowers in some of the chapters of the Qur’ān. The greatest number of such verses that are bunched together are seven, verse numbers 59 to 65 in Sūrah al-Hajj (22:59-65). These verses end as follows:

innAllāh(a) la ‘Alīm(un) Halīm
(most surely, Allah is All-Knowing, Forbearing) (22:59)

innAllāh(a) la ‘Afuww(un) Ghafūr
(most surely, Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving) (22:60)

annAllāh(a) Samī‘(un) Basīr
(because Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing) (22:61)

annAllāh(a) Huwal-‘Aliyy-ul-Kabīr
(because Allah – He is The Most High, The Most Great) (22:62)

innAllāh(a) Latīf(un) Khabīr
(surely, Allah is Most Kind, All-Aware) (22:63)

innAllāh(a) la Huwal-Ghaniyy-ul-Hamīd
(most surely, Allah – He is The All-Sufficient, The All-Praised) (22:64)

innAllāh(a) binnāsi la Ra’ūf-ur-Rahīm
(surely, Allah is Most Kind, Merciful to mankind) (22:65)
