In the words of my master, my grandfather, may Allah spread his benefit, during the recitation from the book Sabil-il-Iddikar (The Lives of Man), (of Imam ‘AbdAllah bin ‘Alawi al-Haddad, may Allah be pleased with him).
There is knowledge in this book that we do not hear about in another gathering, nor do we hear it except if we sit with scholars who know the reality of things. This book, The Way to Remember and Learn from the Lives of Man that Wane and Perish, informs man about future matters to come of which he is unaware and which he will face. And even if there are diverse questions addressed, the evident truth is clarified in it. Or, as he explained.
Then he explained the chapter in the book about the fear of the pious predecessors of an un-blissful demise.
